SRCC Economics Society Launches Free Writing Mentorship For Class 11 and 12 Students

The Economics Society of Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), in partnership with The Hindu in School, has officially announced the launch of a new writing mentorship programme. The initiative is designed specifically for students of Classes 11 and 12, offering them a unique platform to develop their academic and professional capabilities.

The two-week-long, free-of-cost programme is scheduled to be conducted from July 27 to August 9, 2026. According to the organizers, the initiative is aimed at unlocking the writing, research, and analytical potential of all the participants.

The programme is highly inclusive, as it is open to all students of Classes 11 and 12, irrespective of whether they have any prior writing background or experience. Over the course of the two weeks, students will stand to acquire crucial research techniques, data analysis skills, and mastery in writing, while also gaining valuable industry exposure.

To encourage and reward active participation, the organizers have lined up several exclusive perks for the mentees. The top 20 mentees in the programme will receive a six-month subscription to The Hindu ePaper. Additionally, every student who participates will be awarded a formal certificate of participation to acknowledge their involvement.

Furthermore, participants will receive a printed copy of The Hindu Teen Digest and will be provided with unique publication opportunities to showcase their writing. One of the key highlights of the initiative is the chance for direct interaction with distinguished professionals from leading corporations and top universities across the world.

Students who are interested in joining the mentorship programme can register online. The registration link is available on the Unstop platform. The deadline for completing the registration process is July 16, 2026, before the programme officially begins on July 27.
