Editorial Standards

Delhi Feed is an independent local news service for Delhi, Delhi NCR, published by Feed Media. These are the standards every story on this site is held to.

How we source and write

We continuously monitor a wide range of credible local, regional and national sources. For each story we compile and cross-check the reporting, then write it in clear, plain language with the local context a reader in Delhi needs. Our reports are grounded in reporting from multiple independent sources. We do not invent facts, quotes or events, and where a story is still developing or a detail is unconfirmed, we say so rather than guess.

Use of technology

Local news moves fast, and we use editorial technology and automation to compile, summarise and publish quickly and to keep stories current as facts develop. This technology works alongside source verification and editorial rules designed to keep reporting accurate and grounded in the original sources. When we get something wrong, we fix it — see our corrections policy.

Accuracy and corrections

Accuracy is the priority. If a report is incomplete or wrong, we update or correct it promptly. Readers can flag anything that looks off at [email protected]. Full details are in our corrections policy.

Independence and labelling

Our coverage is not for sale. Any sponsored or promotional content, where it appears, is clearly labelled as such and kept separate from our news reporting.
