School Cab Driver Arrested in Bawana for Sexually Assaulting 3-Year-Old Nursery Student

Delhi Police have arrested a cab driver employed at a private school in Delhi's Bawana area in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a three-year-old nursery student.
According to the police, the accused allegedly lured the minor girl with chocolates and touched her inappropriately on several occasions within the school environment.
The alleged abuse came to light after the child's mother noticed a visible change in her behaviour and began questioning her. During the conversation, the three-year-old girl told her mother about a "bad uncle" at the school who regularly gave her chocolates.
Because the young child was unable to identify the individual by name, her parents promptly informed the school administration about the matter.
On August 24, the school authorities assisted the family by showing the child photographs and CCTV footage from the premises. Through this footage, the girl successfully identified the accused driver.
The police were subsequently alerted to the incident. Following a complaint, an First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Police officers later arrested the accused directly from the school premises. A preliminary investigation revealed that the man had been working as a cab driver at the private school for the past eight months.
Investigators stated that CCTV footage recovered from the school premises showed the accused roaming around the property with chocolates in his pocket.
