Queer entrepreneurs showcase businesses at Delhi bazaar to mark Pride Month 2026

On Saturday, dozens of LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and creators gathered at The LaLiT hotel in New Delhi to showcase their businesses at the Queer Bazaar. The marketplace, which highlighted queer artistry, entrepreneurship, and community, was organized as the closing event of the hotel’s Pride Month 2026 celebrations.

The event was held in collaboration with the Keshav Suri Foundation. According to the organizers, the initiative aimed to provide queer-owned businesses with a dedicated platform to showcase their work, reach new customers, and build sustainable livelihoods.

Visitors at the bazaar were able to browse a wide variety of unique products. Among the popular items were brightly coloured stickers featuring cheeky, socially conscious one-liners. Stalls drawing crowds included stickers with phrases like “I ate gender norms for breakfast” and “My favourite season is the fall of patriarchy.”

The marketplace also featured bold makeup palettes that challenged the conventional notion that cosmetics belong to a single gender. Other items on display included handcrafted jewellery, perfumes, crochet art, home decor, textiles, and apparel, all reflecting the diverse talents of the participating queer business owners.

A representative from the Keshav Suri Foundation emphasized the economic and social goals of the bazaar. "The idea behind Queer Bazaar is to provide LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs with a platform to generate livelihoods and make their businesses visible," the foundation member said.

The representative added that the Keshav Suri Foundation regularly hosts such initiatives to actively promote entrepreneurship and economic empowerment within the LGBTQ+ community in Delhi.

By bringing together various creators, the event sought to foster a sense of community and support for local independent businesses. The collaboration between The LaLiT hotel and the Keshav Suri Foundation provided a space where participants could directly engage with the public, helping to increase visibility for their brands and creative endeavors during the Pride Month celebrations.
