Man Arrested in Delhi for Duping 23 Job Seekers of Rs 5.5 Lakh in Fake Hospital Scam

A man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly running a fake recruitment scam that targeted job seekers by promising them jobs at GTB Hospital. The fraudulent scheme resulted in 23 job seekers being defrauded of a total of ₹5.5 lakh, ultimately leading to police action and the apprehension of the suspect in the national capital.
The scam revolved around the false representation of GTB Hospital, a medical institution in Delhi. The accused allegedly lured the job seekers with fake employment offers, convincing them that they were being recruited for legitimate positions within the hospital. The victims, seeking employment, trusted the representations made by the accused regarding the job openings.
In total, 23 job seekers fell victim to the fraudulent operation. The victims paid money to the suspect, who collected a total of ₹5.5 lakh under the guise of securing them these employment opportunities. The job seekers eventually realized they had been duped when the promised jobs at the hospital did not materialize, prompting them to realize they were victims of a scam.
Following the complaints and subsequent investigation into the fraudulent recruitment drive, the unnamed suspect was arrested. The arrest was made in connection with the cheating and fraud perpetrated against the 23 job seekers who lost their money.
GTB Hospital, the institution falsely represented in the scam, had no involvement in the fraudulent recruitment drive. The suspect operated independently to deceive the victims and extract a total of ₹5.5 lakh from them.
The authorities have not yet released the name of the arrested man or the specific dates when the recruitment scam took place. The investigation is ongoing as officials look into the details of how the suspect managed to dupe the 23 job seekers in Delhi.
