DTTDC Requests Town Hall Blueprints From MCD For Heritage Revamp

The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has formally requested the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to share the blueprints and layout plans of the heritage Town Hall building in Delhi.
This official request serves as a key step toward planning and executing the revamp and conservation of the historic heritage building.
The sharing of these blueprints and layout plans is considered a critical requirement for the initial planning phases of the preservation project. By securing these structural documents from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the DTTDC aims to ensure that all future conservation efforts are meticulously planned in accordance with the original design of the Town Hall.
The Town Hall is a prominent historic landmark in Delhi. The proposed revamp and conservation project is aimed entirely at preserving the architectural heritage of the building. The coordination between the DTTDC and the MCD represents a collaborative effort between the two public entities to protect and restore the historic site.
At this stage, no specific dates, timelines, or financial estimates have been provided for the commencement of the physical restoration work. The immediate focus of the involved authorities remains on the acquisition and detailed review of the layout plans. Further planning and execution details for the heritage building's revamp will be determined once the requested documents are officially shared by the MCD.
