The initiative involves 1,510 development and construction projects worth ₹441.10 crore scheduled over the 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years to upgrade basic amenities for lakhs of residents.
The massive infrastructure push aims to improve the quality of life in these clusters by upgrading community buildings, drinking water supply, and sewerage systems. The Delhi government is prioritizing these upgrades in several key areas. Alongside Dwarka, the priority list includes Najafgarh, Narela, Timarpur, Adarsh Nagar, Jahangirpuri, Azadpur, Bawana, Rohini, Seemapuri, Trilokpuri, Shahdara, Karawal Nagar, and Sangam Vihar.
