Delhi Police arrest Jatin Bhardwaj and Sukhwinder Singh in arms and drugs case

The Delhi Police Crime Branch has recently arrested two key operatives associated with the foreign-based gangster Goldy Dhillon in New Delhi. The arrests were made following a detailed investigation lasting for a couple of months into illegal arms and narcotics supply chains operating in the area.
The arrested individuals have been identified by police investigators as Jatin Bhardwaj, who is 28 years old, and Sukhwinder Singh, who is also 28 years old. Both of the accused men are residents of Punjab. According to investigators, the duo played a key role in Dhillon's network by arranging hideouts and logistical support for shooters linked to the gangster. They also helped maintain control over local drug distribution networks.
During the recent police crackdown, investigators managed to apprehend one of the accused men while he was allegedly on his way to commit a crime.
Special CP (Crime) HGS Dhaliwal stated that the Crime Branch had been working for a couple of months on cases involving extortion calls made to businessmen by gangsters who are operating from abroad. Following formal complaints of extortion and subsequent claims of responsibility made on social media, police teams carried out extensive technical surveillance and field verification.
During the detailed probe, the police identified several suspects with multiple criminal records who were allegedly providing logistical support to foreign-based gangsters. In addition to providing logistical support, these suspects were also carrying out various criminal activities on the instructions of the gangsters.
Furthermore, investigators discovered that some of the suspects were in contact with the overseas gangsters through sophisticated communication apps.
The arrest of Bhardwaj and Singh is expected to disrupt the logistical support, hideouts, and drug distribution networks for shooters linked to Goldy Dhillon. Police officials noted that the action also helps in mitigating foreign-based extortion threats to local businessmen in Delhi.
