CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Demands Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Resign by 5 PM

At a protest in Jantar Mantar, Delhi, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke issued an ultimatum on Saturday demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan by 5 pm. Dipke warned that if the minister does not resign, the youth movement will launch week-long protests across multiple Indian cities and return to the Jantar Mantar protest site next Saturday.

The protest, which began drawing crowds around 10 am, saw at least 600 people, primarily students and young people, gather at the site. CJP spokesperson and key member Saurav Das was present at the venue early on to coordinate the demonstration.

Before Dipke's arrival, Das approached police officers at the site, expressing concern that the police were stopping Dipke's vehicle. Although police officers denied the claim and stated they found no one at the coordinates provided, Dipke eventually arrived at the venue around 11:30 am in a white Ertiga to cheers from the gathered crowd.

Addressing the demonstrators from a raised footpath near the boundary wall of the Janata Dal office, Dipke delivered his speech outlining the 5 pm deadline. Many in the crowd wore cockroach masks and carried posters as they listened to the CJP founder.

During his address, Dipke criticized the political landscape of the past 10 to 12 years, stating that the country has been trapped in Hindu-Muslim politics that have failed to generate jobs. He declared his readiness to sacrifice his freedom for the cause.

Dipke also spoke about the deletion of the CJP's X account, framing it as an attempt to suppress the movement. He asserted that while their posts could be deleted, the authorities could not erase the movement or the youth of the country.

Following the speech, Dipke led the crowd in slogans demanding Pradhan's resignation and chanting for student unity. The protest concluded with demonstrators lifting Dipke onto their shoulders, while smaller groups of protestors continued singing and chanting songs at the site.
