Andhra Pradesh Government Commissions NBCC To Build New Delhi Administrative Hub

The Andhra Pradesh government has officially commissioned the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) to construct a new administrative hub, known as the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, in New Delhi. The project was formally initiated on July 1, 2026, establishing a major new civic infrastructure footprint for the state in the national capital.
The planned administrative hub will be a massive complex, spanning a total built-up area of 249,000 square feet. According to official details of the agreement, the construction of this extensive facility will be executed at an estimated cost of ₹105.5 crore.
As the designated construction partner, the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) will take charge of building the new state hub. The administrative complex is intended to serve as the central point for the state government's operations, official meetings, and administrative coordination within New Delhi.
The ₹105.5 crore budget allocated for this project will cover the entire scope of construction for the new Andhra Pradesh Bhavan. This administrative hub will provide a localized space for state officials, delegation visits, and administrative tasks, ensuring a centralized base of operations. With a substantial budget, the project represents a significant financial and physical investment by the Andhra Pradesh government.
The creation of a 249,000 square foot facility is designed to meet the growing administrative needs of the state's representatives and officials who operate out of the national capital. The massive scale of the facility makes it a notable addition to the institutional landscape of New Delhi.
Although the commissioning of the project by the Andhra Pradesh government was confirmed on July 1, 2026, further details regarding the exact location of the new bhavan within New Delhi, the construction schedule, and the expected date of completion have not yet been made public. The development remains one of the largest state-led administrative construction projects commissioned in the capital.
