Police Suspect Jealousy Led Imran to Kill DU Student Muskan in Tilak Nagar

Delhi Police suspect that jealousy drove a 26-year-old man to fatally stab 21-year-old Delhi University student and model Muskan inside her home in Tilak Nagar on Wednesday evening.
According to police officials, the suspect, Imran, is a former gym trainer who is currently unemployed. Investigators suspect that Imran had harboured anger toward Muskan for nearly two months because she had been communicating with another person.
Muskan, a second-year student at Delhi University's School of Open Learning who also worked as a model, had known Imran for approximately one-and-a-half years.
Police said the simmering tension turned violent on Wednesday evening when Imran allegedly went to Muskan's residence while she was alone. An argument broke out between the two, after which Imran allegedly attacked her multiple times with a knife and fled the scene.
The incident inside her Tilak Nagar residence led police to launch a search for Imran. Investigators are currently examining the exact nature of their relationship and the sequence of events during the period leading up to the murder.
