Three More DU Colleges Open Admissions Based on Class XII Marks

Three more off-campus Delhi University colleges have opened merit-based undergraduate admissions using Class XII scores to fill vacant seats across several programmes in New Delhi. The institutions—Shyam Lal College, Rajdhani College, and Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening)—took the step as colleges continue to face challenges in filling undergraduate seats left vacant following regular Common University Entrance Test (CUET) admission rounds.

The development follows earlier moves by Bhagini Nivedita College and Aditi Mahavidyalaya to offer admissions based on Class XII marks for their vacant seats.

At Shyam Lal College, application forms were invited from August 19 to August 21 for specific courses, including BSc physical science with chemistry, BSc physical science with electronics, and BA (Hons) Hindi. The college will display its merit list on August 23. Following the list, physical document verification and admissions are scheduled for August 24 and August 25. Candidates are required to complete fee payment on the same day as their physical document verification.

Rajdhani College has opened admissions for several courses, including BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BSc (Hons) physics, BSc (Programme) physical science with chemistry, BSc (Programme) applied physical science industrial chemistry, and BA (Programme) Sanskrit with history.

Applicants seeking admission to Rajdhani College can submit their applications until 5 pm on August 24. The college will publish its merit list on August 25. Document verification, confirmation of admission, and fee payment will take place from August 27 to August 28, with the final deadline for fee submission set for August 29.
