22-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Prahladpur Bangar Bathroom, Husband Missing

A 22-year-old woman was found dead inside the bathroom of her residence in Prahladpur Bangar village in outer north Delhi, prompting police to register a case and launch a search for her missing husband, officials said on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Sabila Khatoon, wife of Mohammad Lalbabu. According to police officials, the couple had been married for approximately two years and resided together in Prahladpur Bangar.

The Shahbad Dairy police station initially received information regarding the woman's death on August 29. Upon receiving the alert, a police team was dispatched to the residence, where they discovered Sabila lying dead inside the bathroom.

The woman's brother, Mohammad Gulab, subsequently approached law enforcement authorities to report the incident. The complainant stated that upon reaching his sister's house, he discovered her body inside the premises while both her husband and child were missing.

Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with the incident and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The woman's body was shifted to the mortuary at BSA Hospital, where it has been preserved for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Efforts remain underway by the Delhi Police to trace and locate the woman's missing husband as the investigation continues.
