Man Found Dead Outside Naraina Vihar Girls' School, Taxi Driver Detained

An unidentified man with severe head injuries was found dead near the entrance of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in west Delhi's Naraina Vihar on Monday morning. The police have detained a taxi driver as a suspect in what prima facie appears to be a homicide.
The Naraina police station received a phone call regarding the body around 7am on Monday. A police team dispatched to the location discovered the victim, estimated to be around 30 years old, who had bled profusely from severe injuries to his head.
Investigators examining the body found two names, "Anand" and "Renu", tattooed on the victim's left forearm. Authorities are currently working to ascertain the man's identity and trace his family members.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Hareshwar V Swami stated that legal proceedings have been initiated and further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the man's death. Prima facie findings indicate the death was homicidal.
A police officer associated with the investigation noted that initial findings suggest the victim was killed at another location before his body was dumped outside the school gates in Naraina Vihar.
To trace the movement of suspects, investigators scanned footage from CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the crime scene. The surveillance footage revealed a taxi moving around the area under suspicious circumstances.
Police obtained the ownership details of the vehicle and identified the driver who was captured on camera operating the cab. The driver has been taken into custody and is undergoing questioning as a suspect in the murder case.
