Two teenage brothers were injured after a late-night fire broke out inside the kitchen of their house in Mohalla Nitaryana, located behind GB Road near Ajmeri Gate in Central Delhi, on Thursday night. The incident triggered a swift emergency response from local residents, police personnel, and the city's firefighting department.

According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the department received an emergency call regarding the fire at approximately 11:25 PM on Thursday. In response to the alert, the fire department immediately dispatched two fire tenders to the residential spot in Mohalla Nitaryana.

By the time the dispatched firefighters arrived at the house, the two young occupants had already suffered burn injuries. Police Control Room (PCR) personnel and local residents rushed to assist the victims, helping to shift them quickly to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital.

The injured siblings have been identified as 14-year-old Waris and 18-year-old Fareed. Medical officials reported that Waris sustained around 35 percent burn injuries, while his older brother Fareed suffered nearly 20 percent burns.
