Speeding Bus Crash on Nand Nagri Flyover Kills One and Injures Two

A fatal road accident on the Nand Nagri flyover in northeast Delhi on Wednesday night resulted in the death of a 27-year-old motorcyclist and left at least two other individuals seriously injured. The collision occurred at approximately 9:30 pm when an allegedly speeding private bus crashed into a taxi and three separate motorcycles as it was descending the flyover.

The deceased victim has been identified by the authorities as Vinit, a 27-year-old man who was riding one of the motorcycles involved in the crash. The other two injured victims, identified as Rohit and Suraj, sustained serious injuries during the multi-vehicle collision.

According to senior police officers, the local police station in Nand Nagri received an emergency call regarding the road accident at around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. Emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the flyover to assist the victims and manage the situation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Rahool Alwal confirmed that all the injured individuals were quickly evacuated from the crash site and shifted to the nearby Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Upon their arrival at the hospital, medical doctors examined the victims and declared Vinit brought dead. The other two injured men, Rohit and Suraj, were admitted to the GTB Hospital and are currently undergoing medical treatment for their severe injuries.

Following the crash, the errant driver of the private bus fled the accident spot, leaving the vehicle behind on the flyover. The Delhi Police have registered a case regarding the fatal accident, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the unidentified driver who fled the scene.
