Speeding Bus Crash Kills One and Injures Two on Delhi's Nand Nagri Flyover

A 27-year-old man was killed and two others were seriously injured on Wednesday night after a speeding private bus crashed into a taxi and three motorcycles on the Nand Nagri flyover in northeast Delhi. The collision occurred at around 9:30 pm as the bus was descending the flyover.

The deceased victim was identified as Vinit, a 27-year-old motorcyclist. The other two injured individuals, identified as Rohit and Suraj, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the accident, the driver of the private bus fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle on the flyover.

According to the Delhi Police, the Nand Nagri police station received information regarding the road accident at approximately 9:30 pm. Emergency teams immediately responded to the call and reached the spot.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Rahool Alwal confirmed that all the injured individuals were quickly shifted to the nearby Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors declared Vinit brought dead. The other two injured men, Rohit and Suraj, are currently undergoing treatment at the medical facility.

The police have registered a case against the unidentified bus driver who fled the spot. Investigations are underway to locate and arrest the driver.
