Security Stepped Up in Tilak Nagar After 21-Year-Old Muskan Sharma Found Dead

Heavy police security was deployed and barricades were set up across Mahavir Enclave in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Thursday, a day after 21-year-old Muskan Sharma was found murdered inside her home.
The lane outside Muskan's residence remained largely deserted throughout the day as police personnel blocked the entrance with barricades and prevented people from gathering or lingering in the area. A white tent was erected near her home, with several chairs placed in a row outside amid the tight security cover.
The incident came to light on Wednesday evening when a house help discovered Muskan lying in a pool of blood and immediately alerted her family members. Neighbours in the vicinity stated that they had heard some commotion in the area on Wednesday evening prior to the discovery.
Local residents mentioned that an individual named Imran lived in rented accommodation in the area and was frequently seen around the neighbourhood. Neighbours stated that they had never noticed anything amiss about his presence before the incident occurred.
People living in the neighbourhood also shared that they knew relatively little about Muskan, as she generally kept to herself and had limited interactions with local residents. Many neighbours only learned that she was a content creator after news of her murder emerged on Wednesday.
