NCRTC Recovers Around 500 Lost Items on Delhi-Meerut Corridor Over Past Year

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has helped commuters recover around 500 lost or forgotten belongings on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor over the past year.
The recovered articles include laptops, smartphones, iPads, important documents, trolley bags, vehicle keys, clothing, wallets, and bags containing cash.
According to an NCRTC official, passengers who lose their belongings while travelling on the Namo Bharat train can report the matter to a dedicated Lost and Found Centre. When unattended items are reported to station staff or security personnel, or found by operations staff or fellow commuters, they are deposited at the Lost and Found Centre located at the Ghaziabad Namo Bharat station following due documentation.
Passengers can also report misplaced belongings to the customer care centre. To assist commuters in tracking and reclaiming their possessions after proper verification, recovered items are listed on the Namo Bharat Connect app and on the official website.
