The injured pedestrians were identified as Dayanand Tagra, 79, and Kusum Tagra, 71. Following the collision, both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where they are currently recovering.
Delhi Police identified the driver of the vehicle as 49-year-old Navleen Kaur and subsequently arrested her in connection with the hit-and-run incident. The grey Hyundai Creta involved in the collision has also been impounded by the authorities.
