Man Shot Dead in Bawana as Himanshu Bhau Gang Claims Retribution

A 45-year-old man was shot and killed by three unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in Bawana, outer north Delhi, on Saturday morning. The targeted attack, which occurred around 8:15 AM, has escalated an ongoing cross-continental gang war in the region.
The victim, identified as Joginder, who was also known as Kala, was intercepted by the three men on a bike while he was on his way to work. The assailants fired multiple rounds of gunfire at him before speeding away from the scene.
Following the shooting, Joginder was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. However, medical authorities declared him brought dead.
A relative of the victim shared that Joginder was heading to his job at a water plant when the attack took place. According to the relative, three people on a motorcycle had been waiting near a corner before they intercepted and shot him.
By Saturday noon, the Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility for the fatal shooting through a social media post. The online admission was made by Vicky Hadal alias Poothiya, a henchman for the gang, alongside his associate Daku Kulasiya.
In the social media post, Hadal and Kulasiya described the killing of Joginder as "righteous retribution". They alleged that the victim had a direct hand in the prior murder of their close associate, Keshav Dabas.
The gang members also issued a warning in their post, stating that other individuals involved in the death of Keshav Dabas would soon meet a similar end.
The incident highlights the international reach of local gang operations. Vicky Hadal is currently orchestrating his gang activities from Portugal, while the gang's leader, Himanshu Bhau, is believed to be operating from the United States.
