Madhoo Shah Praises Ranveer Singh, Expresses Desire to Work With Him
Veteran actress Madhoo Shah has praised actor Ranveer Singh’s career trajectory, highlighting his resilience against early career ridicule and expressing a strong desire to collaborate with him in future film projects.
Speaking in an interview with Hindi Rush, the actress reflected on Ranveer's journey in the film industry, describing it as "amazing." She noted that the very people who once laughed at the actor during the early stages of his career have now transitioned into his biggest fans. Madhoo hailed Ranveer's ability to remain true to himself despite facing constant criticism over the years.
During the interview, Madhoo was asked which actors from the current generation she would most like to work with in the future. In response, she first named actress Janhvi Kapoor, explaining that she sees a strong resemblance between Janhvi and her late friend, the legendary actress Sridevi.
Madhoo spoke highly of Janhvi's dancing skills, comparing her to the late icon. She remarked that she really likes Janhvi and finds her exceptionally graceful when she dances. She added that while there was no dancer quite like Sridevi, Janhvi definitely makes her proud, which makes her want to share screen space with her.
In addition to Janhvi, Madhoo revealed her keen interest in collaborating with Ranveer. She explained that while she has a long-standing wish to work with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer has also become an actor she deeply admires and wants to act alongside.
Reflecting on her past experiences, Madhoo shared that Shah Rukh Khan remains her "eternal favourite." She disclosed that she had previously received an opportunity to work with him a long time ago, but that specific film project was ultimately shelved before completion.
Despite that missed opportunity, Madhoo expressed a renewed enthusiasm for working with the newer generation of talent in the industry, specifically pointing to Ranveer's remarkable rise and Janhvi's graceful presence as key inspirations for future collaborations.
