Kangana Ranaut Hits Back at Critics and Baba Ramdev at Delhi Airport

BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut on Monday strongly criticised several film industry personalities as well as yoga guru Baba Ramdev at Delhi Airport, responding to ongoing criticism over her recent remarks.

Speaking to reporters at the airport, Ranaut accused her detractors of targeting her purely to gain publicity. She stated that she would not take advice or criticism from individuals who, according to her, have failed to achieve comparable professional success in life.

Ranaut specifically named several prominent public figures while addressing the media. She referenced comments made about her by actors and entertainment figures, stating that she regularly faces attacks from peers within the industry.

“Every day, I see people like Ashutosh Rana — who says I bark like a dog — or the likes of Sonu Sood. Then there are people like Rakhi Sawant, who make all sorts of remarks about my character, and Taapsee Pannu, who insults my parents, my upbringing and my background,” Ranaut said.

Dismissing the credibility of those criticising her, Ranaut described her detractors as “failed” and “completely irrelevant” individuals who rely on abusing her to generate media attention. She maintained that she would not tolerate what she described as personal attacks against her and her family.

“If you haven't achieved even one per cent of the success I have in life, I am not going to listen to you,” she told reporters at the airport.

In addition to addressing her peers in the film fraternity, the parliamentarian also directed sharp criticism toward yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Reacting to recent statements regarding women, Ranaut stated that Ramdev had “crossed every boundary of decency” with his remarks.
