Hindu College Celebrates Independence Day with Campus Tiranga Rally in Delhi

Hindu College celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with patriotic events on its campus in Delhi, drawing participation from faculty, students, and staff members across departments.

The celebrations commenced with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the recitation of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem. The event saw attendance from faculty members, students, non-teaching staff, frontline workers, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets representing both the Army and Navy wings.

During the gathering, attendees took a collective pledge for Nasha Mukt Bharat, reaffirming their commitment toward fostering a drug-free and self-reliant nation.

Following the formal ceremony, a grand Tiranga Rally was organised across the college campus. Led by teachers and joined by students, staff, and volunteers, the rally featured patriotic slogans and the display of the Tricolour.

Additionally, on the eve of the Independence Day celebrations, teachers and NSS volunteers from Hindu College attended the commemoration of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, which was held at the Multipurpose Hall inside the University of Delhi Sports Complex.
