Dimagi Naxal Party Instagram Page Goes Offline After Amassing 1.7 Lakh Followers

NEW DELHI — A newly created Instagram account named "Dimagi Naxal Party" rapidly gathered over 1.7 lakh followers within days of emerging following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day remarks, before becoming unavailable on the platform.
Prior to going offline, the account had shared stories alleging that it had been targeted by multiple cyber attacks. The profile, operating under the handle @dimaginaxalparty, is currently inaccessible to users.
The account presented itself as the official page of the "Dimagi Naxal Party" and featured the slogan "Think, Research, Resist". In its profile description, the page listed its founder as "A Dimagi Indian" and its co-founder as "56 Inch ka", while redirecting visitors to an account on X under the handle @DNJP_India.
Platform details indicated that the Instagram profile was created in August. As of Monday, the page had published 65 posts and was following 35 accounts before it became unavailable.
The identity of the individual or group responsible for creating and operating the account has not been publicly disclosed.
