Delhi Records High of 34.9 Degrees Celsius as IMD Forecasts Moderate Rain

The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 34.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday, settling 0.8 notches above the season's average temperature.
The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius during the day.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast a generally cloudy sky alongside moderate rainfall across the city on Friday and Saturday.
Alongside the weather conditions, the city's air quality remained in the satisfactory range. Central Pollution Control Board data indicated that the Air Quality Index stood at 74 at 4 pm on Thursday.
According to the classification standards established by the Central Pollution Control Board, an Air Quality Index reading between zero and 50 is categorized as good, while a value between 51 and 100 falls into the satisfactory category.
Under the same scale, readings between 101 and 200 are rated moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor, and scores between 401 and 500 are considered severe.
