Delhi Police release posters of 19 wanted terrorists, restrict kites near Red Fort

The Delhi Police has intensified security arrangements across the national capital ahead of Independence Day celebrations later this week, displaying posters featuring photographs of 19 wanted terrorists and imposing aerial restrictions around Red Fort.
As part of the security measures, around 15,000 to 20,000 personnel from the Delhi Police and paramilitary forces will be deployed for the occasion.
On Tuesday, the police issued a formal order prohibiting kite flying and other aerial objects at or around venues hosting Independence Day programmes and public gatherings in the central district, including areas surrounding Red Fort.
The enhanced security protocols and security personnel deployments aim to maintain strict vigil and ensure safety across the capital during the celebrations.
