DDA Signs Deal with Juniper Hotels for Five-Star Hotel in Dwarka Sector 23

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has signed an agreement with Juniper Hotels Ltd to develop a five-star hotel facility in Sector 23, Dwarka. The agreement, executed on August 12, marks a major step in plans to position the sub-city as an investment hub and is expected to attract capital investment exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.
Under the terms of the deal, the project will be developed on a licence fee basis and operated on a 55-year lease. Officials stated that the project is anticipated to create approximately 800 direct employment opportunities once implemented.
The selected developer, Juniper Hotels Ltd, will be responsible for developing, building, financing, operating, and managing the hotel. The property will feature 200 lettable rooms and must meet five-star standards established by the Union Ministry of Tourism.
The hotel will overlook the DDA’s Dwarka Golf Course and is situated close to the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre as well as the upcoming Dwarka Sports Complex. The facility is also planned to be among the first hospitality venues serving the proposed Diplomatic Enclave, which is slated directly opposite the project site.
According to a DDA official, the project aligns with ongoing efforts led by Lieutenant Governor TS Sandhu to establish Dwarka as a primary investment destination in the capital.
