DDA opens 850 lifetime memberships at Dwarka Sector 24 Golf Course

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will open online applications on Tuesday for lifetime memberships at the Sector 24 Golf Course in Dwarka, New Delhi. This initiative marks the first time the DDA is offering lifetime memberships at the facility, providing a total of 850 memberships across both government and non-government categories. The application window will remain open for a duration of two months.

According to a statement issued by the DDA, the decision to introduce these memberships came after instructions from Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu. The Lieutenant Governor directed the authority to offer lifetime memberships for the Dwarka Golf Course to inculcate a sense of belongingness to the complex among its members. Prior to this decision, the golf course had only been offering tenure memberships for limited periods.

Of the 850 lifetime memberships being made available, 250 are allocated under the government category, while the remaining 600 are designated for the non-government category. The DDA has set the lifetime membership fee at Rs 3.5 lakh for the government category and Rs 7.5 lakh for the non-government category.

For applicants in the non-government category who prefer shorter commitments, the DDA is also offering limited-term options. These include three-year and five-year memberships, which are priced at Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 4.5 lakh, respectively.

Inaugurated in 2024, the Dwarka Golf Course is the longest golf course in India. The 18-hole facility is spread across 158 acres, featuring large greens and a total length of 7,377 yards. Additionally, the venue boasts a driving range of 375 yards.

Beyond golfing facilities, the complex features a variety of amenities. These include a swimming pool and clubhouse facilities such as a restaurant, snack kiosks, a cafeteria, a conference hall, a multi-purpose hall, and other facilities.

To apply, interested individuals must submit an online application and pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500. Following the scrutiny of all submitted applications, successful applicants will be required to deposit their applicable membership fees online within 30 days.
