CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Writes to Education Ministers on School Infrastructure
NEW DELHI — Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has written letters to education ministers across states seeking transparency regarding the state of government schools, teacher vacancies, school funding, and access to basic and digital facilities.
In identical letters shared publicly on social media platform X, Dipke called on state authorities to make relevant data public. He stated that the country needs to know what concrete steps are being taken to improve government schools across states.
Dipke presented a list of six key questions to the education ministers. The first inquiry focused on school renovations, asking how many government schools have been renovated in the past five years and how many institutions still require repairs or complete renovation.
His second question addressed teacher shortages. Dipke requested specific figures on how many teaching posts are currently sanctioned, how many of those posts have been filled, and how many positions remain vacant in government schools.
Regarding the financial management of public education, Dipke asked the ministers to state how much funding has been allocated to government schools over the past five years and how much of that allocated funding has actually been spent.
The fourth question raised concerns over educational access and capacity, asking how many additional government schools are required across states to ensure reasonable access to quality education for children.
Dipke also questioned the administrative burden placed on educators, asking the ministers to specify what non-teaching duties and responsibilities are assigned to government school teachers in addition to their teaching work.
Finally, the letter addressed fundamental infrastructure and learning tools. Dipke sought exact details on how many government schools possess adequate computers and digital-learning facilities, clean and functional toilets, and proper sports facilities and equipment.
