CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Faces Scrutiny Over Boston University Degree

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke's educational qualifications have come under scrutiny in New Delhi following claims across social media platforms and podcast discussions alleging he did not attend Boston University.

The controversy has escalated into a political issue, prompting Dipke to state that he is prepared to produce supporting documents to verify his academic credentials. Dipke has publicly maintained that he completed a master's degree in public relations at Boston University in the United States, an institution he was also identified with in earlier profiles and court-related reporting.

The recent dispute gained traction after questions emerged online regarding Dipke's educational history. In addition to doubts about his attendance, an RTI activist previously raised queries regarding the funding behind Dipke's studies abroad and called for scrutiny into his family's finances. The activist questioned how Dipke's father, who worked as a junior engineer at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), could afford to finance an American education.

Dipke has rejected allegations that his education was supported by unexplained family wealth. In an interview with journalist Barkha Dutt, he stated that he funded his studies through an education loan that he is still repaying, alongside a scholarship provided by Boston University.
