CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Announces Second Phase of Jantar Mantar Protest
Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced that "Season 2" of the party's "Jantar-Mantar" protest campaign will launch soon in Delhi. Speaking about the upcoming movement, Dipke noted that he was responding to numerous comments on Instagram from supporters inquiring about when the campaign at Jantar Mantar would resume.
The CJP founder did not provide specific details regarding the exact start date, location details, or the specific set of demands that the next phase of the protest would focus on. However, Dipke's remarks indicate that the CJP is preparing a return to the protest space at Jantar Mantar following its earlier demonstration campaign at the landmark.
The announcement follows recent activities by the CJP aimed at positioning the party around issues affecting young people. Alongside the protest hint, Dipke alleged that the party recently encountered opposition while trying to organize a volunteers' meeting in Delhi.
According to Dipke, the party struggled to secure a venue for the gathering because multiple hall owners claimed they were under "pressure from above." While the CJP eventually secured a hall for the meeting, Dipke alleged that the venue owners received explicit threats on the morning of the event, warning them against hosting the CJP gathering.
Dipke blamed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for the alleged intimidation, claiming that the pressure tactics showed the party was afraid of the country's youth. He added that such actions would not deter the CJP from pursuing its political and social activities.
In a separate recent movement backed by the CJP, around 300 students and 100 parents marched to the Hamirpur district collectorate in Uttar Pradesh to demand a proper road leading to their school. The students highlighted severe condition issues during the monsoon season. Dipke commended the children's initiative, stating that their demand for basic connectivity should have been addressed decades ago.
