CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Announces Oct 10 Youth March To Jantar Mantar

Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke announced on Saturday that Delhi will witness a massive mobilization of young Indians on October 10, calling for a march to Jantar Mantar following an alleged police crackdown on protesting students and activists.

Dipke condemned the Delhi Police in a post on X, asserting that dissent is a fundamental democratic right that cannot be crushed through intimidation or force. He called on law enforcement authorities to halt coercive actions against peaceful demonstrators across the capital.

According to Dipke, administrative efforts to restrict demonstrations will only broaden public participation in the upcoming gathering. "Delhi Police must stop its crackdown on protesting students and activists," Dipke said. He added, "Every attempt to suppress peaceful protesters will only bring more people to the streets and strengthen the march to Jantar Mantar."

In an additional post, the Cockroach Janata Party criticized what it described as police brutality directed at demonstrators at the central Delhi protest site. The party stated that using state power to suppress dissent is not how a democracy should function, calling the actions at Jantar Mantar shameful.

The party also questioned the law enforcement agency's focus and operational priorities. In its public statement, the party noted that if the Delhi Police showed the same zeal in carrying out their actual duties, the city might be safer today.
