CISF Catches Alleged Stalker on Noida-Dwarka Metro Line After Helpline Calls

On Sunday morning, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) successfully intercepted and apprehended an alleged stalker along the Noida - Dwarka Delhi Metro route. The swift security operation was launched after the force received emergency distress calls through its helpline, 155655, from a female commuter and her mother. The suspect was ultimately identified, deboarded at the Patel Nagar metro station, and taken into custody.
According to CISF officials, the first complaint was lodged at 7:27 a.m. when the mother of the female passenger contacted the CISF Operational Control Centre (OCC). She informed the control room that her daughter, who is a regular commuter on the Noida - Dwarka Metro line, was being repeatedly targeted and followed by the same man during her daily travels.
Only nine minutes later, at 7:36 a.m., the female commuter herself made contact with the OCC. Calling from the Yamuna Bank metro station, she provided the security officials with critical, real-time updates regarding the suspect's movements on the transit network.
Upon receiving these details, the OCC immediately coordinated an emergency response. The control room alerted the Shift in-charge and dispatched instructions to CISF personnel deployed at multiple stations along the metro route to monitor, identify, and intercept the individual.
The complainant also shared a photograph of the suspect with the transit security team. Utilizing this photograph, CISF personnel stationed at the Patel Nagar metro station successfully spotted the suspect on board a train.
The security team immediately deboarded the man from the train at Patel Nagar. The Delhi Metro Rail Police were called to the scene shortly after, where they took the alleged stalker into custody for further legal action.
