CISF ASI Suspended for Allegedly Photographing Woman in Delhi Metro Near AIIMS

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) assistant sub-inspector has been placed under suspension after a woman alleged that he took unauthorized photographs of her inside a Delhi Metro coach near AIIMS Metro Station, police sources said on Sunday.
The incident took place around 1 pm when the female passenger confronted the CISF personnel over the alleged photography. According to sources, the assistant sub-inspector initially denied having taken any pictures on his mobile phone.
The confrontation intensified after fellow passengers intervened. Commuters reportedly checked the personnel's mobile phone gallery and discovered photographs of the woman stored on the device. Passengers then asked him to delete the images from his phone.
The argument escalated into a scuffle when the CISF officer attempted to exit the train coach and several passengers moved to prevent him from leaving, sources said.
A video documenting the altercation inside the metro train later surfaced on social media and went viral. Police officials are currently examining the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A senior CISF officer confirmed that the assistant sub-inspector has been suspended pending the outcome of an internal inquiry.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, CISF Delhi Metro announced that a comprehensive investigation has been initiated. The agency noted that a matter had been reported regarding alleged misconduct by a personnel member towards a female passenger in a metro train, emphasizing that the CISF has viewed the development with the utmost seriousness at the highest levels.
