Bike-Borne Men Rob Finance Firm Employee of Rs 17 Lakh in Gandhi Nagar

An employee of a finance firm was robbed of Rs 17 lakh at gunpoint by two bike-borne assailants in a residential lane adjoining the Gandhi Nagar market in east Delhi on Friday afternoon. The entire robbery was captured on a CCTV camera and lasted just 28 seconds.
The incident took place around 4:09 PM in a street lined with parked two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws. A video of the encounter surfaced on social media on Saturday, detailing how the crime was executed in broad daylight.
Moments before the robbery, the lane appeared calm as a scooter and a motorcycle passed through normally. The victim was seen walking down the right side of the street while carrying a black backpack containing the cash.
Suddenly, two men riding a motorcycle approached from the opposite direction and blocked the employee's path. The pillion rider quickly dismounted from the moving motorcycle and pointed what appeared to be a firearm directly at the victim.
The armed assailant aggressively cornered the employee against a wall and forcefully snatched the black backpack. Immediately after securing the bag, the robber hopped back onto the motorcycle where his accomplice was waiting with the engine running, and the two fled the area.
