Apollo Hospitals Extends Routine Healthcare Services to Sundays Across Seven Days a Week

Apollo Hospitals announced on Tuesday in New Delhi that its routine healthcare services will now be operational across all seven days of the week, including Sundays.
Under the new initiative titled "Always open, always here," the healthcare provider is expanding its operational schedule beyond 24/7 emergency services to include routine medical care on Sundays. The expanded schedule covers outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests, preventive health checks, follow-up appointments, and scheduled procedures.
Dr Prathap C Reddy, founder and chairman of the Apollo Hospitals Group, stated that the move expands the network's ongoing commitment to routine and preventive care.
"We have always been available for emergencies and critical care. We are now extending the same commitment to routine and preventive care across all seven days of the week. This is our seal of service to every Indian," Dr Reddy said. He noted that the initiative is also a tribute to the doctors, nurses, technicians, and healthcare workers at the hospital, whose commitment enables the expanded schedule.
Dr Preetha Reddy, executive vice chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, noted that the initiative is designed to provide greater flexibility for patients managing work and family commitments.
"People should be able to seek medical care at a time that fits more easily into their lives. For working professionals, caregivers and families, having the option to consult a doctor, particularly on Sundays, can make a meaningful difference," Dr Preetha Reddy said.
With this operational expansion, patients will have direct access to regular clinical consultations, lab tests, and health screenings on Sundays alongside the existing around-the-clock emergency support.
