AIIMS New Delhi Declares Results for 460 Faculty Posts Across 50 Disciplines

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, announced on Sunday that it has declared the results for the recruitment of 460 faculty posts. According to the institute, these new appointments are expected to significantly strengthen patient care, teaching, and research. The vacancies range from Assistant Professors to Professors, covering more than 50 different disciplines. These positions are located at AIIMS, New Delhi, and the AIIMS–Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences campus at Maidan Garhi.

The selection process saw a high volume of interest, with the institute receiving more than 3,200 applications. The entire recruitment process was completed over a period of six months.

To maintain high standards, AIIMS New Delhi released a statement explaining that several measures were adopted to ensure the integrity of the selection process. One of the key steps involved the marks of the candidates, which were digitally locked using one-time passwords.

Subsequently, a specialized software program generated the final merit list. This software used the locked marks and pre-defined algorithms to compile the list, ensuring there was no human intervention involved in the process, except for the specific purpose of resolving ties. The institute noted that this automated method also enabled the rapid declaration of the final results.
