Abhijeet Dipke Demands Removal of Security PSI at Sambhajinagar Residence

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke confronted a police sub-inspector deployed as part of his security detail at his home in the Waluj MIDC area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, demanding the officer's removal for allegedly preventing people from meeting him. A couple of videos showing the confrontation surfaced on social media platforms on Friday, August 7, 2026.

The 30-year-old activist accused the officer, whom he identified only as Suresh, of being rude to visitors and trying to restrict and monitor people entering his residence. Dipke had been provided security following threats and to manage crowd gatherings at his home in the central Maharashtra city.

In one of the viral videos, Dipke is heard reprimanding the civil-dressed police sub-inspector and asking him to leave his house. Dipke questioned why visitors were being blocked, asking the officer why he was behaving "like the Delhi police" and stating that the police would not dictate whom he could or could not meet.

In a second video, Dipke spoke to a senior police official over the phone to complain about the officer's behavior. Dipke asked the official if the restriction on visitors was being done deliberately and requested that the sub-inspector be removed from his home security staff immediately.

During the same phone call, the CJP founder alleged that plainclothes state CID personnel were roaming near his home. Dipke claimed a reporter spotted the CID personnel and observed that a WhatsApp group named 'Hit Spray' was open on one of their phones, which was allegedly being used to send reports from the location.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Atulkar, whose jurisdiction covers the Waluj MIDC area, was unavailable for comment on the claims made by the CJP founder despite repeated attempts.
