35-Year-Old Man Injured by Chinese Manjha at Maujpur Red Light in Delhi

A 35-year-old man was injured on Saturday after being struck by banned Chinese manjha at the Maujpur red light intersection in northeast Delhi.

The injured individual has been identified as Gaurav Sharma, a resident of Ashok Mohalla. Following the incident, Sharma was taken to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for medical attention and treatment.

According to police officials, the local police station received information directly from Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital regarding Sharma's injuries caused by the hazardous kite string. A formal medical examination of the victim is being conducted to evaluate the extent of the harm sustained.

Investigating officers have launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident. As part of the ongoing probe, police personnel are examining CCTV footage recorded by cameras installed in and around the Maujpur red light area.

In addition to reviewing video recordings, officers are questioning local residents and witnesses present near the scene at the time of the occurrence to identify the source of the banned string.
