The victim was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, a senior police officer said. The deceased has been identified by the police as Jay Singh, alias Ganju.

Following the incident, police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and apprehended two accused individuals in connection with the fatal stabbing. Officers have also recovered the knife allegedly used to commit the crime.

Police said further investigation is underway to establish the exact sequence of events leading up to the altercation and to determine whether any other individuals were involved in the crime.

The fatal attack occurred four days after another stabbing in the same locality.
