21 Killed in Massive Fire at Lemon Green Hotel in Malviya Nagar

A major fire broke out at the Lemon Green hotel and restaurant in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, on June 3, 2026, resulting in the deaths of 21 people.

Among the deceased were 18 foreign nationals who were at the property when the blaze started. The incident triggered an immediate emergency response from local authorities and the Delhi police, who rushed to the scene to initiate a rescue operation.

Several other individuals who suffered injuries in the incident were evacuated from the building and transported to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for medical care.

The rescue operation at the Malviya Nagar establishment has now concluded. Following the completion of the rescue efforts, the Delhi police filed a First Information Report (FIR) to probe the circumstances surrounding the fatal fire at the Lemon Green restaurant and hotel.
