19-Year-Old Student Saiyed Husain Stabbed to Death Near Kalkaji DDA Flats
A 19-year-old Class 11 student was stabbed to death following a quarrel near a local park in the B Block of DDA Flats in Kalkaji, southeast Delhi, on Sunday afternoon. The victim, identified by the police as Saiyed Husain, was found lying with severe stab injuries after a physical altercation broke out in the residential area.
According to the Delhi Police, authorities received a PCR call at approximately 2:23 pm regarding an ongoing quarrel among school students in the Kalkaji area. Upon receiving the alert, a police team was immediately dispatched to the spot, where they discovered Husain suffering from critical stab wounds.
A Central Accident Trauma Services (CATS) ambulance also reached the location shortly after the police arrived. Medical personnel administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to Husain at the scene in an effort to save his life. He was then quickly shifted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where doctors subsequently declared him dead.
The deceased was a resident of JJ Camp, located in Okhla Phase-II. He was a Class 11 student who studied at a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school in Kalkaji.
A senior police officer stated that preliminary investigations revealed Husain was stabbed during a sudden quarrel that involved two or three other individuals. The exact motive behind the altercation and the subsequent stabbing has not yet been established by the investigators.
The Delhi Police have registered a criminal case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. Multiple police teams have been formed to track down and apprehend the suspected attackers. Officers confirmed that the accused individuals have been identified, and active efforts are underway to arrest them.
As part of the ongoing probe, police personnel are actively examining CCTV camera footage from the residential neighborhood and the vicinity of the park. They are also questioning local witnesses to reconstruct the exact sequence of events that led to the fatal attack. The victim's body has been sent for a postmortem examination.
