19-Year-Old Nursing Student Dies by Suicide in Rajinder Nagar Hostel

A 19-year-old third-year BSc Nursing student allegedly died by suicide by hanging in her hostel room in Delhi's Rajinder Nagar area, police said on Friday.

The deceased student hailed from Najafgarh in Delhi. Her body was discovered inside the hostel room by fellow students, who immediately brought her to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Following her arrival, authorities at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital notified the Rajinder Nagar Police Station regarding the incident.

A police team subsequently visited the hostel, and a crime scene investigation team was called in to examine the location.

Police said that a further inquiry is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the student's death.
